How to place course reserve materials at the Library?
Answer
General Guidelines
Faculty may place materials on reserve in the library using the Course Reserve Form .
Both personally owned materials and those owned by the Thurgood Marshall Library can be placed on Course Reserve.
If Thurgood Marshall Library does not currently own the item you would like to place on reserve, you can request that it be purchased using the Faculty Request Form below.

- Please indicate that the material is personally owned, and we will ensure that it is returned to you at the end of your requested reserve period (one semester/one year).
- The library holds items for two (2) regular semesters. We will notify you upon removal. If you wish for the material to remain on reserve, you will be required to fill out the Course Reserve Form.
- If you need to place more than one item on reserve, be sure to list them all on one (1) form: you do not need to submit the form multiple times.
