How do I request books from other USMAI libraries?
Answer
On the Library page click on BSU Discovery to search for books.
Sign in to BSU Discovery with your BSU username and password
Search the title of the book in BSU Discovery
If the book is not available at BSU and found in other USMAI institutions, sign in to BSU Discovery.
Non-BSU owning books show link "Request: Resource Sharing" as below.
Click on “Resource Sharing” under Available on Shelf
The resource sharing request form will be open by clicking the “Resource Sharing”.
Confirm the information, your email, and select “Thurgood Marshall Library” as a Preferred Local Pickup Location.
After submitting your request, check the status in BSU Discovery My Library Card/Requests menu.
Pick up the requested book at the Thurgood Marshall Library Circulation Desk to check out.
